Camp Hill, PA – PCN will cover the 2023 State System Startup Challenge finals on April 19, 2023, held at PCN’s Camp Hill, PA headquarters, LIVE at 7 PM.
Sponsored by Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, the State System Startup Challenge is an opportunity for students attending one of the 14 state-owned universities to compete for prize money of up to $10,000 for their innovative ideas. Winners receive prize money to assist in making their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs come true.
Last year, PCN broadcasted the State System Startup Challenge LIVE on television for the first time in its history. Kutztown University students Shantal Ewell and Kevin Smyth won the $10,000 first place prize for the 2023 State System Startup Challenge for their exceptional business plan for the Schedula Degree Planner, an online platform that would redefine the way college students and advisors interact.
