Brian Lockman recently ended his 25 year run as President and CEO of Pennsylvania Cable Network, officially retiring on April 1, 2020. One of the original four members of C-SPAN, Brian's career has been one dedicated to the development of public affairs television in the United States. During his time at C-SPAN, he was responsible for the production and direction of many firsts, including the first television coverage of the Iowa caucuses. After 15 years with C-SPAN, he returned to his native Pennsylvania to join PCN in 1994, soon thereafter being named President and CEO. In his 25 years with PCN, Brian took part in the expansion of PCN's public affairs programming, and brought in C-SPAN influenced shows, such as PA Books. He has also overseen the addition of yearly coverage of the Farm Show, high school sports, and a whole host of new programming. We wish Brian the best in his retirement, and thank him for his years of service to PCN.
