Gish Logging markets their firewood under the brand name “Hotsticks.” They claim the distinction of being North America’s largest producer of kiln-dried packaged firewood, and bulk air-dried cut and split firewood. Back in 1999, the company invested more than $2.7 million in kilns and packaging equipment. Gish says their kiln boiler uses sawdust for fuel, which eliminates the need to use fossil fuels such as oil and coal.
