The City Tavern opened its doors in 1773, as a hub for trade and commerce. Important meetings between our founding fathers and their allies were hosted here. Today, Chef Walter Staib prepares traditional colonial cuisine in the reconstructed tavern. On this episode we'll tour the City Tavern and Chef Staib will prepare a traditional meal in the 18th century kitchen at the Harriton House in Bryn Mawr.
