Jerry Lee is the Chairman of WBEB MORE-FM and President of the Jerry Lee Foundation.
He was born April 20, 1936 in Sharon, PA. In 1963, he moved to Philadelphia forming a partnership with the late Dave Kurtz to launch a brand new radio station, WDVR 101-FM. As time went on, they changed their call letters and listening format with an emphasis on adult contemporary music.
Lee is now the owner of the last independent station in any major radio market in the U.S. Lee's station has remained the most-listened to station in most months since 2007, according to independent ratings.
