Join It's History! as we explore the history of Saltsburg, PA with the Rebecca B. Hadden Stone House Museum. Located in a historic stone house, the museum is operated by the Saltsburg Area Historical Society. The museum details how the area grew from first settlement, to a canal and railroad stop, to a regional trade center. Featured as well are many personal connections and artifacts of the town's past residents. Also, we will learn about the industries that helped define the area from oil production and glass works, to the salt wells from which the town is named. Come along as we visit the Rebecca B. Hadden Stone House Museum and take a look at what life was like in Saltsburg.
