PCN Profiles: Adam Rippon, Sunday, July 11 at 9:00 PM

Adam Rippon is a retired professional figure skater, best known as a member of the bronze medaling Men’s figure skating team at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Born in Scranton, Adam began skating at ten years old. Before long, he went from winning local competitions to winning at national championships. So began a thirteen-year career that saw him break records and win gold medals at a steady clip. Adam became openly gay in 2015, and has the distinction of being the first openly gay American medalist at the Winter Olympics. In his post-dancing career, Adam has released a memoir Beautiful on the Outside, and he wants to continue his writing.
