You are here: Home / Archive JRT / Journalists Roundtable — November 19th

This Journalists Roundtable marks the last episode of our Fall season, and somehow there's still plenty to talk about here in Harrisburg. We're still getting the final results from the election on Nov. 3rd, and there are several lawsuits outstanding. Could their resolution change the final results of the election in PA? The state legislature is currently trying to wrap up the 2020-21 Budget, dealing with the remaining seven months that was left unfunded after a temporary five month budget was passed in June. And, of course, COVID-19 is rearing its ugly head yet again. Case levels and hospitalizations are spiking nationwide, and several states have already moved back into partial lockdowns. A long winter remains ahead.

Here to discuss these issues, and more, are: Katie Meyer, Political Reporter at WHYY, Brad Bumsted, Bureau Chief at The Caucus, and Asha Prihar, State Government Reporter at The PLS Reporter.
