PCN Remembers Renee Amoore

Renee Amoore (1953-2020) was a longtime deputy director of the Pennsylvania GOP. She began her career as a nurse, becoming the head emergency nurse at Harlem Hospital. After receiving a masters degree in administration from Antioch College, she continued her involvement in the health care industry. She was deeply involved in health care consulting, with Growth Horizons and her own firm, the Amoore Group. She was elected to the Pa. Republican State Committee in 1992, and became its deputy chair in 1996. She taught as an adjunct professor at Antioch, Drexel, and Lincoln, and was deeply connected to the Philadelphia community. We give our condolences to the Amoore family, and all who knew her.
