Pennsylvania has been called ground zero for Lyme disease. A bite from an infected tick can cause symptoms including fatigue, fever, and a tell-tale bull's-eye skin rash. Treated promptly, Lyme disease can be cleared up easily. But left untreated for too long, it can cause serious heart or brain problems. Rep. Rapp wants insurance companies to expand their coverage of Lyme disease treatment past an initial round of antibiotics.
