The House and Senate were in session this week, with both chambers either voting on or holding hearings on gun rights and mental health legislation. The House Judiciary Committee voted out a couple bills, but did not address the extreme risk protection order (ERPO) proposal. The House debated and narrowly passed a bill creating the Office of Repealer, to eliminate certain regulations deemed unnecessary. Climate change and methane production were in the news. The Senate passed a bill that would restrict tobacco use and vaping to those aged 21 and over. Those matters and other issues will be discussed by Chris Comisac, Bureau Chief with Capitolwire; Justin Sweitzer, State Government Reporter, The PLS Reporter; and Marc Levy with the Associated Press. Our host is Brian Lockman.
