PennLive reports there are disagreements over the budget in Harrisburg, but the governor and legislative leaders are keeping quiet about what they are. With the deadline at the end of June, a number of basic spending components still need to be worked out. After the governor introduced his budget plan back in February, Senator Joe Scarnati said that, despite a strong economy, his caucus wanted to reduce spending. At this late stage, other legislation unrelated to the budget could flare up and compete for legislators' attention.
