Rep. Matt Bradford was elected to represent Montgomery County in 2008, but the new state budget will be the first one he's considered from the perspective of leadership. Rep. Bradford and other House Democrats want to spend money on needs they feel have been deferred for too long a time, such as education and infrastructure. In the meantime, PennLive reports that the governor and legislative leaders in the Republican majority are keeping quiet about budget negotiations. The state budget is due at the end of June.
