Francine Schertzer is the Vice President of Programming at PCN. She supervises PCN’s Assignment Desk and team of Producers, who are responsible for coverage of the state legislative floor proceedings and a variety of PCN original productions. Francine serves as a regular on-air host, and has produced a myriad of regularly-occurring programs and large-scale productions including live election coverage and several PCN Oral History series, featuring US Sen. Arlen Specter, Gov. Dick Thornburgh, and Gov. Ed Rendell.
Francine joined PCN in 1997. She is a 1997 graduate of Susquehanna University, holding a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and Writing. As a student, she worked at NBC’s London Bureau and completed an adult summer program at Oxford University.
