A bill banning abortions after a Down’s syndrome diagnosis passed the House after a long debate this week. A gun rights rally was held recently in the wake of Pittsburgh passing a gun ordinance that is stricter than state law. Will infrastructure funding or education improvement tax credits be part of the budget negotiations? Attorney General Josh Shapiro joined other states to sue the manufacturers of OxyContin seeking compensation for opioid-related drug deaths. Viral comments posted on social media by House members drew a bipartisan call from House leaders reminding members to engage in a civil discourse on the issues. Also, Joe Biden, who hails from Pennsylvania, has entered the presidential race. Those issues and more will be discussed by this week’s guests: Ed Mahon, a reporter with PA Post, Tony Romeo, Harrisburg Bureau Chief with KYW Radio; and Chris Comisac, Bureau Chief of Capitolwire. Our host is Larry Kaspar.
