Some low-income Pennsylvanians don't qualify for traditional welfare to help make ends meet. That's where the state's Cash Assistance program comes in. But its future is in doubt. Rep. George Dunbar says the current state budget has no money for the program, so he's sponsoring a bill that would shut it down on July 1st. However, Rep. Dunbar says he's open to discussing other forms of assistance for Pennsylvania's poorest citizens.
