The House was in session this week and a number of press events and hearings were held to promote legislation, including a bill that would add the nuclear power industry into the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act. Also coming to a head is PA Turnpike borrowing, which has led to toll increases. The PA Turnpike Commission, under a law called Act 44, must transfer to PennDOT $450 million in funding each year. This had added $6 billion in debt and resulted in toll increases every year. Also discussed was Lt. Gov. John Fetterman continuing recreational marijuana listening tour. To discuss these issues and more are: Sarah Anne Hughes, Associate Editor of the Pennsylvania Capital-Star; Robb Hanrahan, Anchor of "Face the Stateā€ and CBS 21 News in Harrisburg; and Katie Meyer, Capitol Bureau Chief with WITF-FM. Our host is Brian Lockman.
