Senator Mike Folmer reinforces the point by saying, "Our election code hasn't been looked at in 70 years." With the help of his colleagues in both the House and Senate, the group has put together a package of nine bills to change and update voting and election rules . One idea gives voters a chance to vote early on a permanent basis, another allows "curbside voting" by disabled people from the comfort of their vehicles.
