Acc. To the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, school districts will have access to "$60 million in safety grants for a menu of security, training, prevention and counseling programs. Those grants will allow school districts to identify their unique safety challenges and meet them in cost-effective ways." This is in addition to a new Safe2Say program, which encourages friends and family to make a call if they know someone who might be in crisis. Those and other issues will be discussed by Dolores McCracken, President of the PA State Education Association, Nathan Mains, CEO of the PA School Boards Association, and Shileste Overton Morris, Director of the Center for Safe Schools.
