According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the 40th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury identified more than 1,000 child victims from more than 300 abusive priests across 54 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties over a span of seven decades. Matt Haverstick, an appellate attorney with Kleinbard, a Philadelphia-based law firm; and Commonwealth Victim Advocate Jennifer Storm, with the Office of Victim Advocate, will discuss the Grand Jury report, privacy concerns that delayed release of the report, and legislative efforts to change the statute of limitations for child sexual abuse.
