PCN Remembers: Bob Dorough, 1923-2018

Bob Dorough was an American jazz vocalist, pianist, composer, songwriter, arranger and producer. He was best known as the composer and performer of songs from Schoolhouse Rock!, a TV cartoon series that appeared on Saturday mornings from the 70s into the 90s. Dorough would become the musical director of the series, and composed many of his original songs such as "Three Is a Magic Number." He worked with Miles Davis and Blossom Dearie, and his adventurous style influenced Mose Allison.
