According to NBC6- WJAC, Pennsylvania ranks fifth in the nation for milk production, but dairy farmers currently face low prices for milk, an increase in production cost and a market where the supply outweighs the demand. This has led to what Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman has called a crisis in the dairy industry.
