On this month's edition of Focus on Aging Adults we'll discuss Medicare, Medicaid, and a new program Community HealthChoices. Community HealthChoices is a state mandated program designed to help individuals navigate their Medicaid benefits and long-term health options. The program focuses on keeping seniors in their homes longer, and hopes to stream-line the distribution of services. Enrollment began in Southwestern Pennsylvania at the beginning of the year. The program will roll out across the rest of the state through 2020.
