It’s History! travels the Commonwealth to tour sites and discover events from Pennsylvania’s past. The program features tours of museums and historic sites from across the state hosted by the experts that run them. Each episode in the series focuses on a specific site and its significance. The show highlights the growth of Pennsylvania culture from the history of different colonial immigrant groups, to religious movements, tragedy, and conflict. Viewers are invited to come along as we learn about the stories and the diverse people that have come to create today’s Pennsylvania.

It's History! Old Swedish Burial Ground explores the Old Swedish Burial Ground and the site's significance to Pennsylvania and the Declaration of Independence.
The Old Swedish Burial Ground, located beside the historic Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route in Chester, PA, was established in 1643 by Swedish settlers. John Morton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, was buried in the cemetery in 1777. The location is also home to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, built in 1702.
