PCN CHIEF CONTENT OFFICER RECEIVES ABOVE & BEYOND AWARD

[March 13, 2023]

Camp Hill, PA - PCN's Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer, Francine Schertzer, was recognized as an honoree among City & State Pennsylvania's Above & Beyond and will receive an award during the City & State Pennsylvania's Above & Beyond Gala on March 14, at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia, PA. This award honors fifty Pennsylvania women who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in society.

"I'm honored to be included in City & State PA's Above & Beyond," stated Schertzer. "For the past 25 years, PCN has allowed me to play a part in delivering access to the workings of state government to Pennsylvanians everywhere in a non-partisan manner. I'm proud of our Civics initiatives, providing tools to help students become informed citizens."

Francine Schertzer began her career with the Pennsylvania Cable Network in 1997, serving as the Sr. Vice President and Chief Content Officer since 2020. Schertzer supervises PCN's producers and hosts several on-air programs, including The PCN Call-In Program, This Week PA, and several PCN Oral History series, featuring Gov. Tom Ridge, US Sen. Arlen Specter, Gov. Dick Thornburgh, and Gov. Ed Rendell. In addition, Schertzer ensures PCN's programming continues to educate, connect, and celebrate Pennsylvania's past, present, and future.
