You are here: Home / Archive Exploring PA Boroughs / Exploring PA Borrows: Emmaus Borough

Nestled in the Lehigh Valley the Borough of Emmaus is home to history, culture, and business. Named for a biblical village, Emmaus was founded in 1759. At the time, Emmaus was one of the leading Moravian church communities in the Northeast. On this episode of Exploring PA Boroughs, tour the bustling downtown of Emmaus. We'll visit Let's Play Books, an independent book seller, and enjoy a beer at Yergey Brewing.  Learn about the rich history during our segment at the Emmaus Historical Society.  See Emmaus' creative side, as we talk to artist, Bob

McLeod, co-creator of Marvel Comics, The New Mutants.  You'll get an inside look at the borough, from the council members and citizens who live, work, and play in Emmaus.

Watch Exploring PA Boroughs and more PA History and Culture on cable and the PCN Select Streaming Service.
