Constructed by the town's namesake, Alexander Schaeffer, The Franklin House Tavern in Schaefferstown has stood for over 200 years. Build in 1746 the tavern has seen it's fair share of diners and overnight guests. Now owned by Matt Pieffer, the Franklin House Tavern offers fine and casual dinning in its several dining rooms and bar.
