Description
Former State Senator Vince Fumo may have been out of the limelight for the past several years, but his impact on the state remains enormous. He served south Philadelphia as Senator for thirty years, heavily involved in a wide swath of policy and legislation. He served as the top Democrat on the Senate Appropriation committee, and used that power to fight for his constituents. A long and respected career got derailed in 2006, when a federal investigation into Fumo's charity resulted in an indictment. After failing to fight the charges against him, Fumo was convicted to 55 months in prison. Today, he serves as an outside consultant, but remains defiant and assured of his innocence. Easily one of the most prominent politicians in the state over the past four decades, Fumo regales viewers with tales from the past.
