It's believed that during the infamous winter at Valley Forge, the military-minded Friedrich Von Steuben designated the tavern in Wayne PA, as a place to store black powder munitions. Hence the name, Black Powder Tavern. Today patrons can enjoy small and large plates, craft beers, and revolutionary service.
