Many industrial companies have made Grove City their home. Wendell August Forge creates one of a kind metal gifts and memorabilia just outside of the borough. Multiple generations of Grove City residence have worked at the forge. General Electric has two factories in Grove City providing even more employment opportunities to residents. One of the oldest businesses in the borough is the George J. Howe Company, a coffee, candy, and nut company, creates and distributes high quality roasted coffee nationwide. The Grove City premium outlets brings thousands of shoppers into the area each year.
The business community is able to thrive due to an active Chamber of Commerce providing support and encouragement in the form of member events, like "Foodie Fest" which takes place in Grove City's beautiful Memorial Park.
