Your hometown could be featured on PCN thanks to YOU!
Show us your hometown spirit by submitting a video of your favorite place in town. Flaunt a local sports arena, favorite park, or even your backyard! All you need is your camera or smartphone to share what makes your hometown the best place to live in Pennsylvania. Your video could air on our network and be seen by thousands of PCN viewers!

How To Share Your Hometown Video

Find your favorite place in your hometown.
Take a video of the location.
Tell us your first name and what town you're watching from.
Submit the video to us.
Watch PCN on cable and stream on PCN Select to see your video on the air!
NO deadline. We accept submissions year-round.

Please read all the information outlined on each tab before submitting a video.

Submission Guidelines

Please follow all of the submission guidelines as listed below. Failure to do so will result in your video not airing on PCN. Please note, submitting a video does not guarantee it will air.

- - You must include your first name(s), and the name of the area being recorded.
    - "My name is Amber and I watch PCN from Allentown." or "My name is Larry and I'm at PCN in Camp Hill, PA."
  - You must save the file as your first name and hometown.
  - You must shoot in a horizontal format.
  - Use a tripod or place the camera on a stable surface while shooting your video to prevent shaky footage.
  - Hold onto each shot for a minimum of 20 to 30 seconds.
  - You can have multiple shots of different areas to create one postcard.
  - Video length minimum: 30 seconds
  - Video length maximum: 2 minutes
  - Videos must be at least 720p with 1080p preferred.
  - Do not use copyrighted music or material in your submissions.
  - Do not say or show any private information (last names or residential addresses) in your submission.
  - Do not record any people who have not given permission to be recorded.

Terms & Conditions for Video Submissions

No purchase necessary to enter. The contest is open to permanent legal residents of Pennsylvania who reside within the Pennsylvania Cable Networks viewing area and who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. By submitting any content for consideration, you agree to the terms and conditions written below by PCN.

Copyrighted Material:

Please note that any content that contains any form of copyrighted material will be rejected.

You must own all rights to the content you submit, including music and video. By submitting this any content to PCN you grant PCN a perpetual, fully sublicensable, non-exclusive worldwide license and right (not ownership) to display, distribute, copy, promote, or modify your content for PCN's educational, news reporting, promotional, marketing and commercial use on any platform (including without limitation, PCN's website, PCN's app, PCN's OTT channels on Fire TV and Roku, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and Linkedin). Moreover, you agree that you grant this license without compensation of any kind or payment of a license fee. You also grant PCN the right to use your name and image for the above-described purposes.

Editing Rights:

Pennsylvania Cable Network may choose to edit your video, depending upon the format that you submit it in. Editing may include but is not limited to: changing the dimensions of the screen format, removing clips, changing resolution, altering playback speed, swapping out the music for royalty-free sound clips, shortening or lengthening the video, or changing the file type. All edits will be at the discretion of the Pennsylvania Cable Network.

Submitting a video does not guarantee that it will air on PCN.

How to Watch

PCN will air Hometown Postcard videos during the week (Monday - Friday) after PCN Tours between 6:55 PM and 7 PM*. You can watch on cable and stream with PCN Select. In the event of unforeseen schedule conflicts, the videos may not appear during this scheduled time. The Hometown Postcard videos will also air randomly on the network between programs.

*Please note that PCN can not provide the specific date or time a Hometown Postcard video will air. The videos are randomly chosen.
