Normally, the House and the Senate would be holding their budget hearings right now. Due to the pandemic, however, the Senate wants more time to get a clearer idea of the financial picture in the Commonwealth. As a result, the House is having a normal hearing schedule, and the Senate is in normal session this week. There's a fair bit to talk about. Surprise resignations, more declarations of candidacy for the 2022 races for Governor and Senate, COVID continues its spread as the U.S. hits a somber milestone of half a million deaths, and, of course, the budget.
