You are here: Home / Archive JRT / Journalists Roundtable — October 29th

Election Day is almost here! With less than a week away, we take a trip to Northeastern Pennsylvania, to discuss the political stakes in the Wyoming Valley. The region finds itself once again as a key region to watch in the state. Scranton native Joe Biden seems to be up in the polls, but we all know that President Donald Trump can surprise in the final count. There's also a key Congressional race between incumbent congressman Matt Cartwright, and his Republican challenger Jim Bognet. We'll talk about the politics of the region and how they've changed, but also how COVID-19 has impacted the economy and the mood of the region.

Joining us is a cast of prominent journalists from the area, including Borys Krawczeniuk and Patrick McKenna of The Scranton Times-Tribune, and Dave Janoski of The Citizens' Voice. This episode will air on Thursday October 29th, at 7pm.
