You are here: Home / Archive JRT / Journalists Roundtable — October 1st

This week on Journalists Roundtable, we continue to examine the deadlock in Harrisburg. No deal on pressing electoral issues seems near, as the issue continues its journey to the Supreme Court. The fallout from court cases involving mail-in ballot counts and the Governor's spring shutdown continues to have both Democrats and Republicans hesitant to do much before Nov. 3rd. Vetoes abound, as a bill on spectators at high school football games and a bill on limiting the entrance of PA to the Regional Greenhouse Initiative get shot down. As the election draws ever closer, our host Todd Abele is joined by Stephen Caruso, of the Penn-Capital Star, Jan Murphy of PennLive, and John Finnerty, of CNHI.

This episode of Journalists Roundtable will air at 7pm on October 1st, 2020.
