Journalists Roundtable — June 11th

Pennsylvania continues to be rocked by protests following the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis, MN police officer. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette controversially removed two black journalists from coverage of the protests. Calls for change have found their way to the Pennsylvania legislature, as House Democrats seized the rostrum to demand action. The Pennsylvania House and Senate voted to overturn Governor Wolf's coronavirus emergency order, and saw the resignation of House Speaker Mike Turzai. And Pennsylvania is still waiting for outstanding ballots to be counted following the primary election June 2nd.

All of these important issues feature in this Journalists Roundtable, hosted by Francine Schertzer. Joining her are: Denise Clay of the Philadelphia Sunday Sun, John Micek of the Patriot News, and Charles Thompson of PennLive.
