Francine Schertzer is Senior Vice President and Chief Content Officer at PCN, where she oversees the network’s programming on television, online, and via other platforms. She supervises PCN’s Assignment Desk and team of Producers, who are responsible for coverage of the state legislative floor proceedings and a variety of PCN original productions. Francine serves as a regular on-air host, and has produced a myriad of regularly-occurring programs and large-scale productions including live election coverage and several PCN Oral History series, featuring Gov. Tom Ridge, US Sen. Arlen Specter, Gov. Dick Thornburgh, and Gov. Ed Rendell.
Francine joined PCN in 1997. She is a graduate of Susquehanna University, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Writing. As a student, she worked at NBC’s London Bureau and completed an adult summer program at Oxford University.
