PA House Speaker Mike Turzai announced he would not seek re-election, fueling speculation about his future plans and who might succeed him in leading the House, and whether policies supported by Turzai - opposition to a natural gas severance tax, support for stricter abortion laws among them - would have as strong a champion. The House passed a package of bills strengthening human trafficking laws. Also, two bills relating to open records and the Right-to-Know Law advanced, one of which will charge businesses submitting open records requests for commercial purposes. Skill games and whether they should face state regulation. These topics and other issues will be discussed by Ed Mahon, Reporter with PA Post; Dennis Owens, anchor of abc27-WHTM and Host of This Week Pennsylvania; and John Finnerty, CNHI Harrisburg Bureau Chief who writes for newspapers in Johnstown, Meadville, New Castle, Sharon and Sunbury, Our host is Brian Lockman.
