The General Assembly has 10 days until the budget deadline, and many of the pieces of the budget puzzle are being put in place with a goal to enact the budget next week. Tom Wolf vetoed a proposal to expand the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program by $100 million to $210 million. The program reimburses businesses for contributions made to private and religious schools. Also, this week, a package of crime victim rights bills passed in the House and Senate. To discuss these and other issues are this week’s guests: John Micek, Editor-In-Chief, with the Pennsylvania Capital-Star; Tony Romeo, Harrisburg Bureau Chief with KYW-AM Radio in Philadelphia and KDKA in Pittsburgh; and Sarah Ann Hughes, Associate Editor with Pennsylvania Capital-Star. Our host is Larry Kaspar.
