Nuclear power and alternative energy and their role in the climate change debate are still hot topics as a third hearing was held on the issue as a deadline for consideration of a bill to include nuclear plants in the Alternative Energy Portfolios Standards Act is nearing. A press conference on a bill that would prevent pediatricians from saying they will not treat patients who have not been vaccinated was held with numerous parents and children in attendance. Former Penn State Graham won an appeal in federal court to overturn a child endangerment charge resulting from the Jerry Sandusky case. Those issues and more will be discussed by this week’s guests: Marie Cusick, StateImpact Pennsylvania Reporter with WITF, John Micek, Editor-In-Chief , Pennsylvania Capital-Star, and Jan Murphy, State Government & Education Policy Reporter with PennLive & The Patriot-News. Our host is Brian Lockman.
