These 30 accounts come from the soldiers, sailors, navigators, paratroopers, and nurses – many who were just 18 and 19 years old. PCN invites you to go back in time with them as they recount their experiences on the battlefield, in the air, and on the seas. In addition, readers will get a glimpse of their lives as they endured challenges so daunting that they seem almost insurmountable.
In addition, "World War II Reflections" includes historical sidebars by noted author Dan Cupper and a forward on Pennsylvania’s role in the war by historian Kenneth Wolensky.
