February 13: School Safety with Sen. Joe Scarnati

Sen. Joe Scarnati, R-Jefferson, thinks the half million dollars the state has currently allocated for school safety is not enough. He wants $10 million in state funds from the new budget to hire and train armed guards to protect our kids in the classroom. On Wednesday, Sen. Scarnati will advance his idea in a Senate committee hearing on school safety where educators, police, and the PA Emergency Management Agency are on the agenda to testify.
