Januray 29: Mandatory Union Dues

Last week, House members unveiled a package of six bills, known as the “Pennsylvania Open Workforce Initiative,” aiming at prohibiting compulsory unionism and making Pennsylvania a “Right to Work” state.  Rep. Stephen Bloom (R-Cumberland), and Abe Amoros, PA Legislative Director for Laborers International Union of North America, appear to discuss the proposed legislation, and its potential impact.

    When Right to Work legislation passes good unions will have nothing to fear….if they continue to do a good job negotiating for their members their members won’ t have any reason to leave.
