Speakers
The Pennsylvania Cable Network makes speakers available without charge to address community service and professional organizations, political clubs, and school groups.
Presenters detail the operation of a statewide television network, explain the different facets of public affairs programming, and share how the network is funded by Pennsylvania cable companies. Talks can be tailored to run 20 to 40 minutes (with questions) and often include a videotape of PCN coverage.
PCN speakers are available for breakfast, lunch or dinner programs; however, a minimum audience of 35 individuals is required. Additionally, PCN communicates news of scheduled presentations with local cable company managers, and these individuals sometimes accompany the network representative.
